San Antonio Bay
Crab Trap Clean Up

Texas Sea Grant is proud to have sponsored the San Antonio Bay Removing Abandoned Traps program. Organized by the San Antonio Bay Partnership, the goal of this program was to remove abandoned crab traps during the crab fishing season closure to clean up San Antonio Bay, Lavaca Bay, and Matagorda Bay. Cleaning up these abandoned traps prevent local wildlife from getting entrapped or entangled in them.
